Doug Hall Welcome and thank you for your interest in Self-Defense and Personal Fitness Training. If you have an interest in studying American Kenpo for Self Defense and increased Physical Fitness then we have some interests in common. Currently I am establishing a small group of personal students to complete my advanced study of American Kenpo and to increase my own physical fitness.   • Figure 4 Series, I held the hamstring stretch at part 1 of figure 4 the whole time because my hamstrings and my shoulders are very tight;

But I really like X3Yoga. Don't skip this. The ones I can't do have modifications. I could have used a Yoga Block when I started.

Nice workout. You really need HEX DUMBBELLS with soft/comfortable handles or a set of BANDS which would be handy for many reasons.

Did Yoga yesterday, Eccentric Lower today 6hrs after 1 breakfast taco had me dizzy after first set! Hmph! Took me 50 minutes to do with the logging and unusual moves and using a chair.

This was complicated as I've mentioned before. I didn't enough enough close enough to the workout. It took me longer to log the workout and review what was next and maybe to recover for each exercise but the Albanian Squats are a bit dangerous in my opinion anyway.

No smoothie after I recovered from Triometrics, I powered through and still can not do Camel, Crow, Plow or the last 2 of the Figure 4. Today I also had poor balance and I think it was because of my weakened legs from Triometrics in particular. At this point I hope to move on to Eccentric Lower AND Incinerator tonight but that may not work out that way. I may have to move Incinerator to tomorrow with MMX. I'd like to finish MMX Saturday and Incinerator is an "easy" one to limp through. If I eat well before I start them both I could make them a double 1hr workout tomorrow and rest as much as I can on Sunday.

I felt I had to double Triometrics with Yoga this morning before breakfast and then Eccentric Lower with Incinerator tonight if I can. This workout was tough but I really like it.

I ate 1 breakfast Taco about 4hrs before I got to this workout. I was dizzy and light headed by the formal break at 14mins. After I chugged about 12oz of water and took a rest of maybe 30mins... I was OK to go after Yoga next.

I did pretty well. I did Dynamix earlier today before a nap. I have to do a double later tonight to day on track and that will be Triometrics (Aaaaggghhh!) and X3 Yoga.

I set up my dumbbells and recorded the weights in advance so I only had to record the reps after each set.

This workout also has a very short cooldown with no Vinyasa, it mostly stretches the arms, back and torso.

P90X3 Classic Eccentric Upper Notes

Recording the weights in advance was a great idea. It helped me move faster and because I had notes from last week that said "lighter" and "too easy" it was easy for me to guess a weight to use. I had to reconfigure both adjustable dumbbells and I hit muscle failure a few times.

I absolutely could not do Tricep Skyfers. I just can't move or bend or whatever that way. It can't even really get into the start position. It doesn't help that my shoulders are so tight.
